  • Find collaborators who are as committed to the issues as you are. This event uniquely brings together all of the people and perspectives needed for projects to thrive. That includes community leaders and change makers, program managers, librarians, academics from all disciplines, data managers, tech designers, students, and more.
  • Share your stories of success (or challenges) from on the ground experience with others engaged in this work from communities across the US and beyond. Published research is not a prerequisite for presenting at CAPS.
  • Engage in sessions focused on impact and action. Talks will be grouped by themes relevant to your work including: coalition building, influencing policy, interdisciplinary collaborations and community-based partnerships, among others–see full list of themes here.
  • Get the support you need to plan your submission and presentation. We’ve got an easy to follow planning guide to help you with your submissions, and a presenter toolkit to help you prepare your talk or poster. Accepted presenters will also be invited to peer-review sessions and open office hours where you can get support and feedback on your presentation.
